Arbe Garbe Benadants Charbono Shypoke Vineyard

Charbono (Bernarda), in Napa? Made in the ‘appassimento’ method, similar to Amarone, Rich, velvety and intense. Forest floor, earth, spice, leather, chocolate, char….incredibly hedonistic yet so smooth and utterly delicious to the last drop.

Alc:
15%.

Style:
Full bodied red wine.

County:
USA

Region:
Napa, California.

Varietals:
Charbono.

Vines:
Shypoke Vineyard, Napa Valley.

Vinification:
The grapes are hung out on racks to dry for 54 days, concentrating the flavours. Then crushed and fermented in barrels and bins, with daily punch downs. 16 months in 50% New French Oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Case Size:
6x75cl.

Suggestion:
This is a big wine, packed with minerailty and freshness, with surprisingly well integrated alcohol. It demands to be put in carafe, served in Bordeaux glasses at room temperature. Then add a mighty steak!
