Turning Tide, Chardonnay, 2020

Chardonnay grapes picked in the early dawn hours to preserve freshness and flavor are whole-cluster pressed, barrel-fermented, and aged in large neutral oak puncheons, delivering a supple wine with bright natural acidity. The wine is then aged in 90% neutral and 10% new French Burgundian oak barrels for eight months with limited sulfur additions, resulting in a finished wine with no sugar and naturally low alcohol. Soft, approachable yet naturally racy acidity is the hallmark of this Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay.
